Welcome
FROM THE HEADTEACHER
Welcome to RKPS, thank you for stopping by. We are located in Woodingdean, East Brighton, surrounded by the beautiful South Downs. Our school benefits from glorious outdoor spaces including two sports fields, three playgrounds and our own magical Forest School.
I am extremely proud to be the Headteacher of our dynamic learning community. We are very much a family here and we support each other on our learning adventures.
We are an academic school-our children enjoy achieving. Our curriculum is always evolving and forever creative: pupils enjoy a variety of subjects. We are artists, coders and scientists; historians, musicians and authors.
Our sporting culture is long established and our children are provided with myriad opportunities to embrace exercise and fall in love with sport. We believe that there is a sport out there for everyone.
Outdoor learning is a key component of our curriculum. Our teachers take the learning outside at every opportunity and the children's regular Forest School sessions are among their most popular.
Our fully inclusive ethos ensures that no child is left behind. Hugo, our full time therapy dog, is amongst our most popular members of staff!
I hope that this website, and school instagram page, provides you with a flavour of what an amazing school we are but you won't fully realise until you pay us a visit. I look forward to showing you around soon.
