Inclusion and SEND
Our Inclusion Team

I am Helen Nazarko, the SENCO and Leader of the Inclusion Team. We pride ourselves in being an inclusive, nurturing, kind and supportive school. We have a large SEND community which we highly value and feel is such a strength of our school.
We offer a wide range of additional learning support and adapted provision to support all areas of need.
We have a very highly skilled Senior Learning Mentor who leads our Nurture provision and highly experienced LSAs who support with Literacy difficulties and speech and language needs. We also have a very experienced (and super lovely) Inclusion and Family Support Worker in our Inclusion Team who offers support for families.
We are very much supported by the Brighton and Hove Inclusion Support Service (BHISS) who support individual children, class teachers and lead whole school training and development.
Building relationships with the children is really at the heart of what we do, we know that we all need to feel connected and supported to achieve our best. We work closely with our families to ensure that we are working as a team to support the children to reach their full potential.
We warmly welcome visitors so please do give us a call to arrange a visit soon. If your child has any additional needs, please let us know so that I can meet with you on your visit.

Rudyard Kipling Primary School & Nursery is a nurturing school where difference is celebrated and the wellbeing of all children is central to ensuring that each child reaches their full potential. We are passionate about improving children and families' life chances and this is achieved through our provision, support and inclusive culture.
All children in the school, including those with SEND have access to excellent quality first teaching and learning approaches; a broad and balanced curriculum and opportunities for further enrichment through trips and visits, free clubs and sporting events. We are committed to providing a safe and happy space for all children to feel a sense of belonging so that they can grow and learn.
